If you are interested in meeting me, please email Newberg Animal Shelter at frontdesk@newberganimals.com with a completed Adoption Application. We will contact the home that would be the best fit for this pet specifically. If your application is not chosen, please do not consider it a rejection. We receive multiple applications on every pet.

If you are inquiring if a dog does well with cats, if we were given information on how a dog has done previously with cats, we will have them marked as “yes” or “no”. If a dog is “unknown”, that means we do not have previous information on the dog’s interactions and an adopter’s dog would need to be introduced slowly. As we learn more about the dog in question, we will be updating their post on our website. If a dog is no longer posted on our website, that means that they have been adopted or have been temporarily pulled from adoption.
