Hello there, I’m Dude!

I’m a gentle, loving soul with a heart full of affection to share. I truly enjoy quiet moments—curling up beside you, soaking in attention, and being close to my person. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who thrives on connection and companionship, I’m your guy.

I should mention—I’m carrying a little extra weight right now, so I’ll need a structured weight management diet (no more free feeding for this hungry guy!) to help me get back to my healthiest self. Shelter staff have even nicknamed me “Big Dude” and “Biggie” because of my larger-than-life size and presence.

I can be selective with other cats, but I’ve been doing well with our free-roaming cat room group, showing I can coexist nicely in the right setting. Young children can be a bit too much for me. But don’t let that deter you. I do best in a calm, peaceful home where introductions are slow and respectful so I can feel comfortable and confident.

I may not be a kitten, but that just means I’ve mastered the art of affection. If you’re looking for a devoted, easygoing friend to share your days and your couch, I might be the perfect match. Every home needs a Dude!
