You have to come down to Newberg Animal Shelter to adopt any dog or cat. We have to make sure that all of our animals make it into the right home. This site is only informational and you’ll still need to make the trip to our shelter if you would like to adopt one our animals. We thank you for understanding and so do our animals.

Elvis is ready to steal your heart—and maybe serenade you while he’s at it. This handsome little guy definitely lives up to his famous namesake and always has something to say. Whether he’s greeting you at the door, reminding you it’s dinner time, or just sharing his thoughts on the day, Elvis loves carrying on a conversation with his favorite people.
When he’s not chatting, Elvis enjoys playing with toys, wrestling with his kitten friends, and curling up for a well-earned nap. He’s full of personality, charm, and just the right amount of kitten mischief.
If you’re looking for a playful companion who will keep you entertained and make sure your home is never too quiet, Elvis is ready to take center stage!

Please Note:
All animals for adoption are spayed/neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and treated for parasites.
Please bring a carrier for the adoption.
Adoption Applications will be available at this adoption location and will only be accepted at this adoption site.
We require all adults living in the household to be present at the time of the adoption to ensure the kitten is the right fit for everyone.

We focus on finding the best match for adoptable animals and their forever homes.
Our open hours are Monday – Saturday 11am-6pm, Sunday 11am-4pm (Summer hours). Adoptions end one hour prior to close.
The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, ID microchip, and current vaccinations. They have been wormed, de-flead, socialized and given lots of love.
