You have to come down to Newberg Animal Shelter to adopt any dog or cat. We have to make sure that all of our animals make it into the right home. This site is only informational and you’ll still need to make the trip to our shelter if you would like to adopt one our animals. We thank you for understanding and so do our animals.

Meet Godiva!
At 8 years old, Godiva has been through more than any cat should have to endure, yet this beautiful tortie has remained as sweet as ever. Her striking looks are matched by her gentle, loving personality, and she is ready for a home where she can finally relax and be pampered.
Godiva had all of her teeth extracted due to dental and gingival disease, but don’t let that worry you—this girl eats very well and has no trouble enjoying her meals without teeth. She also had an ulcer and synechia affecting her cornea. Thankfully, it has healed, although her eye will remain cloudy.
After everything she’s been through, Godiva deserves nothing but comfort, kindness, and a soft place to land. She is ready to trade the stresses of her past for cozy naps, gentle attention, and all the love a forever home can offer.

Our open hours are Monday – Saturday 11am-6pm, Sunday 11am-4pm (Summer hours). Adoptions end one hour prior to close.
The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, ID microchip, and current vaccinations. They have been wormed, de-flead, socialized and given lots of love.
