#GivingTuesday is here!

Newberg Animal Shelter has had a successful year serving our community and saving lives thanks to our wonderful adopters (660 pets adopted so far this year!), supportive donors, dedicated staff, amazing volunteers, and our fantastic veterinary partners.

We have many special stories of pets this year that have made a stop here on their journey. Lucky is just one of the many. He came to us as a stray dog in April this year through Newberg-Dundee Police Department. With the help of Newberg Vet and our community, we were able to get him to a stable place to then find his forever home, five months later. 🐾💗

Visit our Giving Trees at your local Newberg Wilco and Sherwood Mud Bay Each ornament on the trees represents an item you can purchase in the store and donate to Newberg Animal Shelter. Every item will be used for the care of shelter animals. Next Generation Karate in Forest Grove (owned by our amazing volunteer Kelly Lowry!) also is collecting cleaning supplies for the shelter.

Holiday shopping is right around the corner and if you are stumped on what to get someone who has everything, consider showing them your love by getting them a commemorative brick or paver! Our new Meet-n-Greet area (where potential adopters meet new companions) outside the shelter is where new pavers will go, connecting our current paver patio.
Pavers can be used to honor friends, loved one or pets. And supports the shelter and our mission of providing a compassionate environment for homeless pets until they find their forever homes.

You'll receive a replica tile that is 4" x 4" with the same engraving as your personalized brick.
