Lilo has found her forever home!
Lilo is a 2.5-year-old Black Mouth Cur Foxhound Mix; she originally came over from Oklahoma through Fetch Fido a Flight, on 8/10/21 and was adopted shortly after. Sadly though, at no fault of her own, she was brought back in mid-May 2022. Her owner had an injury that led her to have to re-surrender her.
Since this time, she has been spending time with Marvin Pierce Dog Teacher, and is working towards her best obedience goals.
So far, she is walking beautifully on the leash
She gets along with other dogs wonderfully
She has a very good recall
She enjoys all people she comes in contact with
She is a happy-go-lucky girl.
She has not shown any interest in any of the other livestock she has encountered.
She has lived with a cat in the past.
She enjoys squeaky toys but does tend to gut them, and then she is done with the toy.
She is fed in a crate or separated from others due to being stressed when eating around others.
Her best life would be in a loving home where she gets to be the princess she truly is. She does have some energy and would make someone a wonderful walking, hiking, or Netflix and chill buddy. The sky is the limit for her training; she could go in any direction you are seeking.
