You have to come down to Newberg Animal Shelter to adopt any dog or cat. We have to make sure that all of our animals make it into the right home. This site is only informational and you’ll still need to make the trip to our shelter if you would like to adopt one our animals. We thank you for understanding and so do our animals.

Meet Remi 💕
Remi is a pocket-sized female Shiba Inu with a heart just as sweet as her fox-like face. True to her Shiba Inu roots, this little lady has that classic cat-like personality—independent, observant, and just a tiny bit sassy in the most adorable way.
She can be a little shy when meeting new people, preferring to take her time to assess the situation (a true Shiba trait!). But once she warms up, Remi blossoms into a friendly, loyal companion who will happily stay by your side and shower you with quiet affection. Earn her trust, and you’ll have a devoted best friend for life.
Cute as a button and small enough to fit perfectly in your lap, Remi is the perfect mix of dainty and spirited. She enjoys cozy spots, gentle attention, and being near her favorite humans. She would do best in a patient home that understands her breed’s independent streak and will let her come out of her shell at her own pace.

Our open hours are Tuesday – Sunday 11am-5pm, Sunday 11am-4pm (Winter hours). Adoptions end one hour prior to close.
The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, ID microchip, and current vaccinations. They have been wormed, de-flead, socialized and given lots of love.
