Watson is a 6 month old, 48#, Doberman/Hound mix. He came to Newberg Animal Shelter on a life-saving transport from Oklahoma.

Bio from Watson’s foster, she had him for one night before the flight:
“Watson is super sweet and a snuggle-potamus and just wants to be near you. He loved playing with Nylabones while he was here for the night and threw a fit when we first crated him but quickly settled down and slept through the night. Hes very attentive and responds quickly to correction. He went potty (#1 & #2) right away after being let outside. He comes quickly when you call and will make a great dog with a little training. He definitely needs to work on his leash manners but I don’t think it would take much work at all. She did great in the car. He is literally the sweetest goofball and just constantly wanted to give kisses, snuggle and play with toys.
At the shelter he was fine with all of the dogs, all sizes, playing with them was when he was the happiest.”

Watson’s adoption fee is $400. He is neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations and treated for parasites.

We focus on finding the best match for adoptable animals and are not first-come first-served.
