You have to come down to Newberg Animal Shelter to adopt any dog or cat. We have to make sure that all of our animals make it into the right home, you understand. This site is only informational and you’ll still need to make the trip to our shelter if you would like to adopt one our animals. We thank you for understanding and so do our animals.

Hello there, I’m Balloo.
I’ve got a heart full of love and a purr louder than a lion’s roar. I’m a sweet, loyal friend who loves a good cuddle. I must confess, I’m a bit of a diva when it comes to other cats, I prefer to be your one and only. I am on some medicine to manage my hyperthyroidism, but I promise I’m worth it. I might be a little needy, but that’s only because I’ve got so much love to give. Adopt me, and I promise to fill your life with purrs, head bumps, and unconditional love.
If you are interested in meeting me, the shelter is open Tuesday through Sunday 11am – 6pm.

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, ID microchip, and current vaccinations. They have been wormed, de-flead, socialized and given lots of love.
