You have to come down to Newberg Animal Shelter to adopt any dog or cat. We have to make sure that all of our animals make it into the right home, you understand. This site is only informational and you’ll still need to make the trip to our shelter if you would like to adopt one our animals. We thank you for understanding and so do our animals.

Hey there, I’m Dax!
I’ve been told I’m a bit of a goofball, but I think I’m just playful. I love a good game of fetch; it’s my absolute favorite. I can chase a ball for hours, but don’t worry, I know how to chill too. I’m just as happy hanging out and enjoying some quiet time. I’ve got a lot of love to give, and I’ve been told I’m pretty sweet. I guess you could say I’m the best of both worlds, fun and relaxed. I’m looking for someone who appreciates my playful side but also enjoys a good chill session. I promise, I’ll be the most loyal and loving companion you could ask for. So, how about it, ready to add a little goofiness to your life? I am currently in foster care so if you’d like to meet me, you need to schedule an appointment.
If you are interested in meeting me, the shelter is open Tuesday through Sunday 11am – 6pm.

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, ID microchip, and current vaccinations. They have been wormed, de-flead, socialized and given lots of love.
