You have to come down to Newberg Animal Shelter to adopt any dog or cat. We have to make sure that all of our animals make it into the right home, you understand. This site is only informational and you’ll still need to make the trip to our shelter if you would like to adopt one our animals. We thank you for understanding and so do our animals.

I may not be a candy, but I’m just as sweet! I love gentle strokes and friendly chit-chat. I’m the kind of cat who’ll listen to your day’s stories without interrupting. I’m quite the gentleman, you see. And when you’re feeling down, I’ll be there to comfort you with my soothing purrs. I’m also a great companion for lazy afternoons. We can watch your favorite shows together, or simply enjoy a quiet moment. I promise, I’ll make every day brighter with my sweet, gentle nature. So, why should you adopt me? Well, because I believe in the magic of companionship, and I’m ready to share that with you. Let’s create sweet memories together!
If you are interested in meeting me, the shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday 11am – 5pm (Winter hours).

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, ID microchip, and current vaccinations. They have been wormed, de-flead, socialized and given lots of love.
