You have to come down to Newberg Animal Shelter to adopt any dog or cat. We have to make sure that all of our animals make it into the right home, you understand. This site is only informational and you’ll still need to make the trip to our shelter if you would like to adopt one our animals. We thank you for understanding and so do our animals.

Hello, I’m Maggi.
I’m a bit shy, but don’t let that deter you. I’m friendly and gentle too. I may take a little time to warm up to you, but once I do, I’ll be your best friend. I love soft whispers and gentle strokes. My purrs are my way of saying thank you. I’m not much of a mischief-maker, but I do enjoy a good play session with a ball of yarn. I’m also quite content to just sit by your side, enjoying your company. I believe every home needs a quiet, loving soul like me. I can’t wait to bring a touch of calm and a whole lot of love to your life.
If you are interested in meeting me, the shelter is open Tuesday through Sunday 11am – 6pm.

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, ID microchip, and current vaccinations. They have been wormed, de-flead, socialized and given lots of love.
