You have to come down to Newberg Animal Shelter to adopt any dog or cat. We have to make sure that all of our animals make it into the right home, you understand. This site is only informational and you’ll still need to make the trip to our shelter if you would like to adopt one our animals. We thank you for understanding and so do our animals.

Hi, I’m Peanut!
I’m just a baby, but I’ve got a big heart. I’m as sweet as can be, always ready to give you a cuddle when you need it. I’m gentle too, I promise I’ll never play too rough. I adore people, and I’m always looking for someone to play with or just sit with. I’m not just all about play though, I’m a good listener too. I promise I’ll be your best friend, if you’ll be mine. I’m hoping to find a forever home where I can share all the love I have to give. Why should you adopt me? Well, I’m full of love, always ready for a cuddle, and I promise to be the best friend you’ve ever had.
If you are interested in meeting me, the shelter is open Tuesday through Sunday 11am – 6pm.

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, ID microchip, and current vaccinations. They have been wormed, de-flead, socialized and given lots of love.
