You have to come down to Newberg Animal Shelter to adopt any dog or cat. We have to make sure that all of our animals make it into the right home, you understand. This site is only informational and you’ll still need to make the trip to our shelter if you would like to adopt one our animals. We thank you for understanding and so do our animals.

Hi there! I’m Ritz!
I’m one of five puppies here, but I’ve got a personality all my own.
I love exploring and learning new things – I’m pretty smart if I do say so myself.
I can be a bit goofy and funny, making everyone around me laugh with my antics. But I also have a gentle, mellow side. I love cuddling up for a good nap after a play session. I’m fiercely loyal and brave, always ready to protect my friends. But I’m also independent, content to do my own thing. I’d make a great addition to any family. Why should you adopt me? Because I’ll bring joy, laughter, and a whole lot of love into your life.
If you are interested in meeting me, the shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday 11am – 5pm (Winter hours).

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, ID microchip, and current vaccinations. They have been wormed, de-flead, socialized and given lots of love.
