Ace has found his forever home!

Howloooo Everyone,

My name is Ace; I am a little over a year and happen to be a handsome Coated German Shepherd; I am stopping over at the Newberg Animal Shelter for a moment in between my stints to find my people/person.

A little about me, I am a happy, gregarious, fun-loving dude with a high drive, ivy league smarts, and, yes, excellent looks. I’m a great candidate for distance hiking (I can keep anyone warm with my bear body), nose work/tracking, and power walks/runs on the beach.
I am also a big fan of anything having to do with food (not picky)! Some areas I’m still trying to refine are my desire to chase smaller critters and over-excitement when anything fabulous around me occurs (this can happen frequently). I am also working on my obedience skills; currently, I am staying at Marvin Pierce Dog Teachers, where I am acquiring more robust levels of obedience and broadening my horizons.

Drop Me an application, and let’s get to know each other!

If you are interested in meeting me, please email Newberg Animal Shelter at with a completed Adoption Application. We will contact the home that would be the best fit for this pet specifically.
