Hi, I’m Gronk!
I’m a big, muscle-bound pit bull terrier mix with the heart of a marshmallow and the coordination of a baby rhino. I may look like I could bench-press a refrigerator, but honestly? I’d rather bench-press your lap. With my whole body. Immediately.
My hobbies include:
Being extremely handsome (I was born this way, can’t help it)
Carrying around toys that are clearly too small for me
Wagging my tail so hard I generate a mild breeze
Forgetting my size and attempting to sit on people instead of next to them
Giving kisses that could count as a full facial exfoliation
Looking intimidating to strangers while actually being 97% pudding
Ideal home:
Someone who likes big dogs, cuddle therapy, and possibly installing a sturdier couch. I do best with humans who appreciate that “personal space” is more of a suggestion than a rule. I can be a bit of an escape artist, so a fully fenced yard is a must for me.
Shelter life can be a bit overwhelming for me — all the noise, movement, and big emotions around me can make me feel overstimulated. I’m one of those sensitive souls who really feels the energy of my surroundings. But once I’m out of the chaos and into a calm, loving home, you’ll see my true personality come out.
If you’re searching for a loyal best friend who is equal parts goofy jock and snuggly teddy bear, I’m your guy. Come meet me! I promise to flex my muscles, give you a smile, and absolutely win your heart.

We focus on finding the best match for adoptable animals and their forever homes.
Our open hours are Tuesday – Sunday 11am-5pm, Sunday 11am-4pm (Winter hours). Adoptions end one hour prior to close.
The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, ID microchip, and current vaccinations. They have been wormed, de-flead, socialized and given lots of love.
