Hamlin has found his forever home!

Hamlin is best described as a lovable goofball who would love an active household. When he arrived at Newberg Animal Shelter from California in February, he had no clue what basic manners were, but thought every person he met needed to be his best friend. We sent him off to board and train with Marvin Pierce Dog Teacher for a few weeks, to work on some basic skills, such as walking on a leash. He is improving on some of his manners and would do well with a knowledgeable adopter, who is willing to continue his education. Hamlin will come with 2-private training sessions to help his new family get him started right in his new home.  One of these training sessions is being generously donated by Marvin Pierce Dog Teacher. Hamlin can be dog selective and would need to meet any dogs in the home prior to adoption. Hamlin is easily overstimulated when he sees cats, so he need a home with no cats.

If you are interested in meeting me, please email Newberg Animal Shelter at frontdesk@newberganimals.com with a completed Adoption Application. We will contact the home that would be the best fit for this pet specifically. If your application is not chosen, please do not consider it a rejection. We receive multiple applications on every pet.
