You have to come down to Newberg Animal Shelter to adopt any dog or cat. We have to make sure that all of our animals make it into the right home, you understand. This site is only informational and you’ll still need to make the trip to our shelter if you would like to adopt one our animals. We thank you for understanding and so do our animals.

Hi there, my name is Max! You might have noticed something unique about me – I am a Manx cat, which means I don’t have a tail! But don’t worry, it doesn’t stop me from being the handsome and lovable feline that I am. I’m not one to shy away from the spotlight, I love being the center of attention and will make sure to keep you entertained with my energetic and playful personality. I am a constant companion, always by your side ready to shower you with affection. I do have to be on a special diet, so no worries about me being a picky eater either! If you’re looking for a charming, affectionate, and energetic addition to your family, then I am the purrfect match for you. Come meet me and let’s see if we’re meant to be together.
If you are interested in meeting me, the shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday 11am – 6pm,(summer hours).

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, ID microchip, and current vaccinations. They have been wormed, de-flead, socialized and given lots of love.
