You have to come down to Newberg Animal Shelter to adopt any dog or cat. We have to make sure that all of our animals make it into the right home, you understand. This site is only informational and you’ll still need to make the trip to our shelter if you would like to adopt one our animals. We thank you for understanding and so do our animals.

Hello there, I’m Nathan Fillion!
I’m just a kitten, but I’ve got a heart full of courage. I love to play, making the most of every moment with a twirling ribbon or a jingling ball. I’m quite the goofball, always ready to make you laugh with my silly antics. But when playtime is over, I’m all about the cuddles. I’ll nuzzle into your arms, purring my little heart out. Life is an adventure, and I’m brave enough to face it, but I’d love to have a partner in crime. Adopting me means gaining a loyal friend, a cuddle buddy, and a source of endless entertainment. All animals for adoption are spayed/neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations and treated for parasites.
Please bring cash and a carrier for the adoption. PetSmart cannot run credit cards for Newberg Animal Shelter adoptions.
Adoption Applications will be available at this adoption location and will only be accepted at this adoption site.
We require all adults living in the household to be present at the time of the adoption to ensure the kitten is the right fit for everyone.

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, ID microchip, and current vaccinations. They have been wormed, de-flead, socialized and given lots of love.
