You have to come down to Newberg Animal Shelter to adopt any dog or cat. We have to make sure that all of our animals make it into the right home. This site is only informational and you’ll still need to make the trip to our shelter if you would like to adopt one our animals. We thank you for understanding and so do our animals.

Meet Sammy!
Sammy is the definition of sweet. This beautiful little girl has a heart as big as her purr, and her favorite place in the world is right beside the people she loves. Whether she’s snuggled in your lap, tucked against your shoulder, or following you from room to room, Sammy simply wants to be close to her family.
She has a gentle, loving personality that makes everyone feel special. Between cuddle sessions, Sammy enjoys playing with her toys and exploring, but she’ll always come back looking for more affection.

Our open hours are Monday – Saturday 11am-6pm, Sunday 11am-4pm (Summer hours). Adoptions end one hour prior to close.
The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, ID microchip, and current vaccinations. They have been wormed, de-flead, socialized and given lots of love.
