You have to come down to Newberg Animal Shelter to adopt any dog or cat. We have to make sure that all of our animals make it into the right home, you understand. This site is only informational and you’ll still need to make the trip to our shelter if you would like to adopt one our animals. We thank you for understanding and so do our animals.

Hi there, I’m Slowpoke!
I’m a kitten, but don’t let my name fool you. I’m not slow when it comes to making friends. I love to cuddle up and purr when I’m around humans. I’m the sweetest little guy, always ready to show love and affection. I’m also quite playful. I enjoy chasing after toys and exploring new surroundings. I can’t wait to meet my forever family and show them just how much joy a little kitten like me can bring. Adopting me means gaining a loyal friend who will always be there to brighten up your day!

All animals for adoption are spayed/neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations and treated for parasites.
Please bring cash and a carrier for the adoption. PetSmart cannot run credit cards for Newberg Animal Shelter adoptions.
Adoption Applications will be available at this adoption location and will only be accepted at this adoption site.
We require all adults living in the household to be present at the time of the adoption to ensure the kitten is the right fit for everyone.

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, ID microchip, and current vaccinations. They have been wormed, de-flead, socialized and given lots of love.
