Sunny @ PetSmart Washington Square has found his forever home!

***Notes from Foster***

“Sunny is really the best kitten I have ever fostered and I know I’m going to cry when I take him in today… he literally lights up a room, so Sunny is the perfect name for him. He comes when he is called and love’s attention. He is a golden retriever in a kitten’s body. He gets along so well with kids and adults… and his favorite thing to do is watch and play with my other cats. He really loves our Jute rug that we have as a scratcher for the kitties and also the cat tower with a hanging mouse. So far his favorite toys are the laser pointer, little animals with feathers on them and catnip mice. He also loves the water fountain for drinking. He very quickly settled into our family and our home. We do keep him caged up when we are not home or if we are sleeping, just for his safety… but he runs around all day. He found an office chair to nap in during the day and likes to dig around and play in the litter pan, so be prepared. He’s also very good at nail trim, medicine and anything else you need, just scruff him and he relaxes. If he cries in car/cage, just cover it and he goes right to sleep. I hope to hear updates from him because he’s the first foster I ever truly considered adopting. He is amazing and wonderful and your life isn’t complete until you have had a Sunny kitten. ”

All animals for adoption are spayed/neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations and treated for parasites.

Please bring cash and a carrier for the adoption. PetSmart cannot run credit cards for Newberg Animal Shelter adoptions.

Adoption Applications will be available at this adoption location and will only be accepted at this adoption site.

We require all adults living in the household to be present at the time of the adoption to ensure the kitten is the right fit for everyone.
