You have to come down to Newberg Animal Shelter to adopt any dog or cat. We have to make sure that all of our animals make it into the right home. This site is only informational and you’ll still need to make the trip to our shelter if you would like to adopt one our animals. We thank you for understanding and so do our animals.

Meet Thelma — the brains of the operation (don’t tell Louise I said that). This clever husky mix has a sparkle in her eye and a spring in her step. She and her sister were caught mid–adventure after hitting the road as free spirits, but Thelma’s ready to trade her life on the lam for one filled with love, treats, and comfy beds. She’s energetic, affectionate, and always up for some fun. Adopt Thelma and get yourself a partner-in-crime you’ll actually want around.
Thelma & Louise — Partners in Paws! While they’d love to stay together and keep their legendary duo act going, they’re also happy to go solo if it means finding their forever home. Adopt one, or double your fun and adopt both! Either way, these girls will make your life a whole lot more exciting.

We focus on finding the best match for adoptable animals and their forever homes.
Our open hours are Tuesday – Sunday 11am-5pm, Sunday 11am-4pm (Winter hours). Adoptions end one hour prior to close.
The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, ID microchip, and current vaccinations. They have been wormed, de-flead, socialized and given lots of love.
