Meet Chance!
Chance is a happy, goofy bully breed mix with a smile so big it should come with a warning label. This guy loves people and lives for attention—especially butt scratches. If you’re looking for a dog who thinks your hands exist solely to pet him, Chance is your man.
Chance was previously adopted but recently returned because he did not get along well with the family’s smaller, long-haired dog. His previous family reported that he is potty trained, crate trained, and knows some basic commands, including sit and lay down. While his compatibility with smaller dogs is not a guarantee, he does appear to do well with dogs closer to his own size. As always, any dog introductions should be done carefully to make sure everyone is a good match.
He’s got some truly impressive hidden talents, too. Chance has mastered the art of pooping with one rear leg lifted (balance is overrated), and his signature “dance” move is best described as enthusiastic hopping around on his back legs. Graceful? No. Endearing? Extremely.
Chance prefers durable chew toys like Nylabones over plush toys and needs regular exercise to burn off his zoomies. Once he’s had his fun, he’s more than happy to settle in for the evening, cuddled up on a soft dog bed near his favorite people.
If you’re looking for a loving, silly companion who will keep you laughing, enjoys his people, and already has a few good manners under his belt, Chance might just be the goofy guy you’ve been waiting for.
