You have to come down to Newberg Animal Shelter to adopt any dog or cat. We have to make sure that all of our animals make it into the right home. This site is only informational and you’ll still need to make the trip to our shelter if you would like to adopt one our animals. We thank you for understanding and so do our animals.

Meet Iggy!
Iggy is a strikingly beautiful boy with a quiet charm that draws you in. While he may be a little shy when you first meet him, give him a bit of time and patience and you’ll discover the sweetest, most gentle companion. Once he feels safe, Iggy’s soft, loving nature truly shines—he enjoys calm affection and being near his people.
Iggy would thrive in a peaceful home where he can settle in at his own pace and build trust. If you’re looking for a loyal, tender-hearted cat with both beauty and soul, Iggy might just be your perfect match. Iggy can be selective with his feline friends but is doing well with a few of our female cats in our free roaming cat room. He also prefers older children but does get along great with cat friendly dogs.
If you are interested in meeting Iggy, the shelter is open Monday through Saturday, 11 am – 6 pm, Sunday 11 am-4 pm (Summer Hours).

Our open hours are Monday – Saturday 11am-6pm, Sunday 11am-4pm (Summer hours). Adoptions end one hour prior to close.
The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, ID microchip, and current vaccinations. They have been wormed, de-flead, socialized and given lots of love.
