You have to come down to Newberg Animal Shelter to adopt any dog or cat. We have to make sure that all of our animals make it into the right home. This site is only informational and you’ll still need to make the trip to our shelter if you would like to adopt one our animals. We thank you for understanding and so do our animals.

Meet Keetah — a lovable, people-oriented pit bull with a heart as big as her smile. She’s the kind of dog who wants nothing more than to be close to her humans, whether that’s cuddling on the couch, joining you for adventures, or simply hanging out by your side. Keetah is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loyal, and she bonds deeply with the people she loves.
Because she forms such strong attachments, Keetah does experience separation anxiety and will need an adopter who understands her needs and can help set her up for success. She does best when she gets plenty of exercise and mental stimulation before being left alone. A secure crate setup and enrichment activities like frozen Kongs, lick pads, or other long-lasting treats will help her feel safe and comfortable while you’re away.
Keetah is looking for a patient, committed home that will continue helping her build confidence and maintain a consistent routine. In return, you’ll get an incredibly devoted companion who will love you with her whole heart. If you’re looking for a best friend who truly wants to be part of the family, Keetah may be your perfect match.

We focus on finding the best match for adoptable animals and their forever homes.
Our open hours are Monday – Saturday 11am-6pm, Sunday 11am-4pm (Summer hours). Adoptions end one hour prior to close.
The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, ID microchip, and current vaccinations. They have been wormed, de-flead, socialized and given lots of love.
