Adoption Fees

Newberg Animal Shelter is a private, nonprofit organization that relies on individual donations, adoption fees and our own fundraising to operate.

Adoption fees help offset some of the costs for housing, food, medical care, enrichment, behavior modification and more. The adoption fee for each animal is dependent on age, breed, health, and needs of the individual animal.  We utilize local veterinarians for medical and surgical care of all the animals in our care.

Adoption fees range from $0-$600 for dogs and $0-$225 for cats. The adoption fee for each animal is included in their animal profile. Click here to see a list of our currently adoptable pets.
