You have to come down to Newberg Animal Shelter to adopt any dog or cat. We have to make sure that all of our animals make it into the right home. This site is only informational and you’ll still need to make the trip to our shelter if you would like to adopt one our animals. We thank you for understanding and so do our animals.

Ansel is a gentle little guy with a heart full of love. He can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but with a little patience and kindness, his sweet personality begins to shine.
Once he starts to feel comfortable, Ansel enjoys quiet companionship, playful kitten adventures, and cozy naps after a day of exploring. He’s looking for a family that will let him settle in at his own pace and celebrate every little step as his confidence grows.

Please Note:
All animals for adoption are spayed/neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations and treated for parasites.
Please bring cash and a carrier for the adoption. PetSmart cannot run credit cards for Newberg Animal Shelter adoptions.
Adoption Applications will be available at this adoption location and will only be accepted at this adoption site.
We require all adults living in the household to be present at the time of the adoption to ensure the kitten is the right fit for everyone.

We focus on finding the best match for adoptable animals and their forever homes.
Our open hours are Monday – Saturday 11am-6pm, Sunday 11am-4pm (Summer hours). Adoptions end one hour prior to close.
The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, ID microchip, and current vaccinations. They have been wormed, de-flead, socialized and given lots of love.
