Art is a sweet, gentle boy who believes the best friendships are worth waiting for. While he may be a little reserved when you first meet him, give him a little time and you’ll quickly earn your reward—an adorable face leaning into your hand, asking for more chin scritches.

This handsome guy has a calm, affectionate nature and loves spending time with people he trusts. Once he feels safe, his sweet personality really shines, and he’s happiest enjoying quiet companionship and plenty of gentle pets.

Art is searching for a patient home that understands some cats need a little extra time to adjust. If you’re looking for a kind-hearted companion who will blossom with love and understanding, Art may be the perfect addition to your family.

If you are interested in meeting Art, the shelter is open Monday through Saturday, 11 am – 6 pm, Sunday 11 am-4 pm (Summer Hours).
