You have to come down to Newberg Animal Shelter to adopt any dog or cat. We have to make sure that all of our animals make it into the right home. This site is only informational and you’ll still need to make the trip to our shelter if you would like to adopt one our animals. We thank you for understanding and so do our animals.

Meet August!
August is a sweet little bundle of curiosity with a playful spirit that’s impossible to resist! This charming girl loves exploring every corner, batting around toys, and turning ordinary objects into exciting adventures. She brings plenty of kitten enthusiasm wherever she goes.
After a busy day of playing, August is happy to curl up for a well-earned catnap before she’s off on her next expedition. Like all kittens, she’ll need a family that’s committed to helping her grow with lots of play, positive experiences, and plenty of affection.

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, ID microchip, and current vaccinations. They have been wormed, de-flead, socialized and given lots of love.
