You have to come down to Newberg Animal Shelter to adopt any dog or cat. We have to make sure that all of our animals make it into the right home. This site is only informational and you’ll still need to make the trip to our shelter if you would like to adopt one our animals. We thank you for understanding and so do our animals.

Say hello to Buttercup, an adorable mixed-breed puppy who is sure to bring plenty of fun and sweetness into his new family’s life! We suspect he may be a Pittie mix, possibly with some hound in the mix, but whatever his ancestry, he is 100% adorable. This happy little guy loves exploring, playing, and taking in everything the world has to offer.
Buttercup is the kind of puppy who will keep you smiling with his playful antics and adorable personality. This boy loves to snuggle close with his person and is looking for someone who will appreciate cuddly personality. He’s looking for a family who will enjoy all the fun that comes with puppyhood and help him learn and grow along the way. Like all puppies, he’ll need patience, consistency, and guidance, but watching him grow into the wonderful dog he’s meant to be will make it all worthwhile. Buttercup is ready for a family to love, adventures to share, and a forever home to call his own!

Our open hours are Monday – Saturday 11am-6pm, Sunday 11am-4pm (Summer hours). Adoptions end one hour prior to close.
The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, ID microchip, and current vaccinations. They have been wormed, de-flead, socialized and given lots of love.
