You have to come down to Newberg Animal Shelter to adopt any dog or cat. We have to make sure that all of our animals make it into the right home, you understand. This site is only informational and you’ll still need to make the trip to our shelter if you would like to adopt one our animals. We thank you for understanding and so do our animals.

Hi my name is Chewy!
I can be very timid and cautious of new people but just give me some time to adjust and I’ll show you my sweet, affectionate side.
My ideal home would be with a calm, very laidback family who has other doggy friends for me to hang out with and learn some confidence from.
I am pretty young still, so I have lots of growing and learning to do.
I am currently at Marvin Pierce Dog Teacher. If you are interested in meeting me, contact the shelter and schedule an appointment.

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, ID microchip, and current vaccinations. They have been wormed, de-flead, socialized and given lots of love.
