You have to come down to Newberg Animal Shelter to adopt any dog or cat. We have to make sure that all of our animals make it into the right home. This site is only informational and you’ll still need to make the trip to our shelter if you would like to adopt one our animals. We thank you for understanding and so do our animals.

Chimera – The Gentle Beauty
Chimera is a gorgeous fluffy little lady with a quiet heart and a gentle spirit. She can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but give her a little patience and she’ll reward you with sweet purrs, soft cuddles, and a friendship that’s well worth the wait.
This beautiful girl enjoys watching the world from a cozy perch before joining in the fun once she feels comfortable. Her calm, loving personality makes every little milestone—from her first head bump to curling up beside you for a nap—feel extra special.
Chimera is looking for a family who will let her blossom at her own pace and show her just how wonderful life in a forever home can be.

All animals for adoption are spayed/neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations and treated for parasites.
Adoption Applications will be available at this adoption location and will only be accepted at this adoption site.
We require all adults living in the household to be present at the time of the adoption to ensure the kitten is the right fit for everyone.

We focus on finding the best match for adoptable animals and their forever homes.
Our open hours are Monday – Saturday 11am-6pm, Sunday 11am-4pm (Summer hours). Adoptions end one hour prior to close.
The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, ID microchip, and current vaccinations. They have been wormed, de-flead, socialized and given lots of love.
