You have to come down to Newberg Animal Shelter to adopt any dog or cat. We have to make sure that all of our animals make it into the right home. This site is only informational and you’ll still need to make the trip to our shelter if you would like to adopt one our animals. We thank you for understanding and so do our animals.

Meet Howden!
Howden is a handsome orange tabby Domestic Shorthair with a gentle soul and a quiet, thoughtful nature. This sweet boy is a bit timid at first and prefers to take his time getting to know new people and surroundings. With patience, love, and a calm environment, he’ll gradually build confidence and show his true personality.
Howden enjoys cozy hideaways, soft blankets, and watching the world from a safe spot while he settles in. As he learns to trust, his curious side begins to emerge, and he’ll appreciate a family that lets him blossom at his own pace.

Our open hours are Monday – Saturday 11am-6pm, Sunday 11am-4pm (Summer hours). Adoptions end one hour prior to close.
The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, ID microchip, and current vaccinations. They have been wormed, de-flead, socialized and given lots of love.
