You have to come down to Newberg Animal Shelter to adopt any dog or cat. We have to make sure that all of our animals make it into the right home. This site is only informational and you’ll still need to make the trip to our shelter if you would like to adopt one our animals. We thank you for understanding and so do our animals.

Meet Jasper!
Jasper is a handsome gentleman with a gentle soul and a heart full of love just waiting to be shared. He may be a little shy when meeting new people, but with a little patience and a few tasty treats, you’ll soon discover what a sweetheart he truly is.
One of Jasper’s favorite things in the world is a good chin scritch. Once he learns he can trust you, he’ll happily lean in for affection and soak up every bit of attention. He’s the kind of cat who forms deep bonds with his people and will make every quiet moment together feel extra special.
Jasper is looking for a patient adopter who will give him the time he needs to settle in and let his personality shine. If you’re willing to let him come out of his shell at his own pace, you’ll be rewarded with a loyal, loving companion.
If you are interested in meeting Jasper, the shelter is open Monday through Saturday, 11 am – 6 pm, Sunday 11 am-4 pm (Summer Hours). Our open hours are Monday – Saturday 11am-6pm, Sunday 11am-4pm (Summer hours). Adoptions end one hour prior to close.
The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, ID microchip, and current vaccinations. They have been wormed, de-flead, socialized and given lots of love.
