You have to come down to Newberg Animal Shelter to adopt any dog or cat. We have to make sure that all of our animals make it into the right home. This site is only informational and you’ll still need to make the trip to our shelter if you would like to adopt one our animals. We thank you for understanding and so do our animals.

Meet Jeffrey!
Some dogs have a way of making you feel at home the moment you meet them, and Jeffrey is one of those special souls.
This handsome Labrador/Poodle mix is believed to be around 8 years old and has the kind, gentle heart that makes everyone fall in love. Jeffrey came to us as a stray, so his past is a bit of a mystery, but one thing is abundantly clear—he is an incredibly sweet, loving boy who is ready to leave his wandering days behind and find a family to call his own.
Jeffrey has a calm, easygoing nature and seems happiest simply being near his people. Whether you’re enjoying a quiet evening at home, taking a leisurely stroll, or relaxing in the backyard, Jeffrey is content to be your loyal companion. He doesn’t ask for much—just a soft bed, a little love, and someone who will cherish him the way he deserves.
After everything he’s been through, we would love nothing more than to see Jeffrey spend his golden years surrounded by comfort, kindness, and unconditional love. We know there is a family out there looking for a gentle best friend, and we think Jeffrey is waiting for you.

Our open hours are Monday – Saturday 11am-6pm, Sunday 11am-4pm (Summer hours). Adoptions end one hour prior to close.
The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, ID microchip, and current vaccinations. They have been wormed, de-flead, socialized and given lots of love.
