Meet Jersey!
Jersey is a sweet, gentle girl who loves being close to her people. She’s happiest snuggled in your lap or by your side, but she’s always up for playtime when her puppy energy kicks in!
She’s smart and eager to learn. Jersey knows sit, walks beautifully on leash with little to no pulling, and is making great progress with positive reinforcement. She’s still working on typical puppy habits like jumping, teething, and learning what is and isn’t a chew toy. While in foster she did great with the resident cats.
Overall, she’s mellow, easygoing, curious, and affectionate with both men and women. She’s also handled everyday household noises like the vacuum and garage door like a champ.
Jersey is a lovable, goofy girl who will make a wonderful companion for a family ready to help her continue growing into the best dog she can be!
If you are interested in meeting Jersey, the first step is to complete an application through the dog’s profile at newberganimals.com.
Once your application is reviewed and approved, we’ll reach out to schedule a meet-and-greet appointment. Appointments are preferred so we can make sure a team member is available to assist you.
The shelter is open Monday–Saturday 11am–5pm and Sunday 11am–4pm (adoptions end one hour prior to close).
