You have to come down to Newberg Animal Shelter to adopt any dog or cat. We have to make sure that all of our animals make it into the right home. This site is only informational and you’ll still need to make the trip to our shelter if you would like to adopt one our animals. We thank you for understanding and so do our animals.

Meet Keanu!
Keanu is a handsome mixed breed puppy with a playful personality and a soft, snuggly side. This sweet boy is believed to be a Pointer and hound mix such as Italian Greyhound/Whippet, and he’s already winning hearts everywhere he goes. Keanu loves attention, cuddles, toys, and discovering all the exciting things puppy life has to offer.
As with any young puppy, Keanu is still learning and will need a family committed to helping him build good habits through positive training and socialization. Puppies can be a lot of work — expect puppy antics, silly chaos, and plenty of learning opportunities along the way. But for someone ready to put in the time and effort, Keanu will make a loving and loyal companion who grows up by your side.
If you are interested in meeting Keanu, the shelter is open Monday through Saturday, 11 am – 6 pm, Sunday 11 am-4 pm (Summer Hours).

Our open hours are Monday – Saturday 11am-6pm, Sunday 11am-4pm (Summer hours). Adoptions end one hour prior to close.
The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, ID microchip, and current vaccinations. They have been wormed, de-flead, socialized and given lots of love.
