You have to come down to Newberg Animal Shelter to adopt any dog or cat. We have to make sure that all of our animals make it into the right home. This site is only informational and you’ll still need to make the trip to our shelter if you would like to adopt one our animals. We thank you for understanding and so do our animals.

Kraken – The Snuggly Little Foodie
If there were an Olympic event for enthusiastic eating, Kraken would be bringing home the gold medal! This adorable fluffy boy has never met a meal—or a snack—he didn’t love. His excitement for food is only matched by his love of cuddling with his favorite humans.
Kraken is a playful, affectionate kitten who enjoys romping around with toys before curling up for a cozy nap in your lap. With his soft fluffy coat, sweet personality, and endless purrs, he’s the perfect combination of fun and snuggles.

Our open hours are Monday – Saturday 11am-6pm, Sunday 11am-4pm (Summer hours). Adoptions end one hour prior to close.
The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, ID microchip, and current vaccinations. They have been wormed, de-flead, socialized and given lots of love.
