Hi, my name is Louie!

I am a nine year young Boston Terrier, Chow Chow, Pembroke Welsh Corgi. I am looking for my fur-ever person/people. I am a gregarious silly boy with a lot of personality! I get along with most other dogs but can have an enthusiastic, exciting approach that is not met with the same energy by all pups. I don’t mean anything by it other than I am excited to meet a new friend.

I have spent the last couple of years playing, hiking, going for walks, eating, and spending time with my favorite teenagers and family members. Other favorite activities are snuggling under blankets, being near my people, eating yummy snacks, and my absolute favorite watching the animal planet channel. I like to chat with the dogs on TV (when Cesar comes on, I get a little star-struck).
I am looking for a quiet home where I can be your partner in crime, going on lovely walks, hikes, doing yard work, and playing with the occasional toy.

If these are things you enjoy, drop me an application, and let’s see if we are each other’s person/pup.

Your Friend

If you are interested in meeting me, please email Newberg Animal Shelter at frontdesk@newberganimals.com with a completed Adoption Application. We will contact the home that would be the best fit for this pet specifically.

We focus on finding the best match for adoptable animals and are not first-come first-served.

We are open for adoptions by appointment only.  This will allow staff to sanitize between each customer.

Please submit an application via email or fax including the names of all of the dogs or cats you are interested in meeting.

Keep an eye on the website.  If the dog or cat you have applied for are no longer available, they have been adopted by another applicant.  If you see another pet you are interested in meeting, please submit a new application.

Thank you for your patience.

We are located at:
1591 S Sandoz Rd
Newberg, OR 97132

Some maps will route you to 1591 S Avalon Park, it is the same location.

If you have another dog in the home, we require you, your family members, and your existing dog(s) to come and meet the dog at the shelter.

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, ID microchip, and current vaccinations. They have been wormed, de-flead, socialized and given lots of love.
