You have to come down to Newberg Animal Shelter to adopt any dog or cat. We have to make sure that all of our animals make it into the right home. This site is only informational and you’ll still need to make the trip to our shelter if you would like to adopt one our animals. We thank you for understanding and so do our animals.

Meet Mochi!
Sweet, curious, and always ready for her next adventure, Mochi is the kind of puppy who makes every day a little more fun!
This adorable girl loves exploring the world around her. Whether she’s investigating a new toy, sniffing out exciting backyard discoveries, or happily tagging along wherever her people go, Mochi approaches life with confidence and a wagging tail. Once she’s finished her adventures, she’s more than happy to settle in for some well-earned snuggles.
We believe Mochi will grow into a medium to large size dog (possible hound mix), so she’ll do best with a family ready to provide plenty of exercise, continued training, and opportunities to explore. She’s eager to learn and has all the potential to become a wonderful hiking buddy, walking partner, or loyal family companion.
Like all puppies, Mochi is still learning the basics, including potty training, leash walking, and good manners. With consistency, patience, and lots of positive reinforcement, she’ll grow into an amazing adult dog.

We focus on finding the best match for adoptable animals and their forever homes.
Our open hours are Monday – Saturday 11am-6pm, Sunday 11am-4pm (Summer hours). Adoptions end one hour prior to close.
The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, ID microchip, and current vaccinations. They have been wormed, de-flead, socialized and given lots of love.
