Meet Oliver — a stunning Blue Merle Mini Aussie with a gentle heart and a sensitive soul. This handsome boy can be very shy when meeting new people and needs a patient adopter who will give him the time and space to build trust at his own pace. New environments and fast introductions can feel overwhelming for Oliver, but with kindness, consistency, and understanding, he blossoms into an incredibly loyal and loving companion.

Oliver is searching for a calm, predictable home where he can feel safe and secure. He would do best with gentle older children or, ideally, an adult-only home that can respect his sensitive nature. Based on information from his prior owner and what we’ve observed at the shelter, Oliver would likely do best as the only dog in the home. He has not been properly socialized with other dogs and can find those interactions stressful.

Once Oliver bonds with his people, he forms deep connections and loves being close to those he trusts. Like many Aussies, he will thrive with regular exercise, mental enrichment, and a steady routine to help him feel confident and balanced.

Oliver may take a little extra time to open up, but for the right person, the bond you build with him will be incredibly special and rewarding.
