You have to come down to Newberg Animal Shelter to adopt any dog or cat. We have to make sure that all of our animals make it into the right home. This site is only informational and you’ll still need to make the trip to our shelter if you would like to adopt one our animals. We thank you for understanding and so do our animals.

Don’t let her name fool you—Panther is one sweet little girl! This beautiful kitten may be shy when meeting new people, but underneath that cautious exterior is a playful, curious kitten who just needs a little time to feel comfortable and build trust.
Panther enjoys exploring, discovering new things, and having fun once she feels safe in her surroundings. Because she can be quite shy with people, she would do best in a calm, patient home without young children where she can take things at her own pace and blossom into the confident companion she’s meant to be.
With her beautiful looks and sweet personality, Panther is sure to steal your heart. She’s just waiting for the right forever family to give her the time and love she deserves!
If you are interested in meeting Panther, the shelter is open Monday through Saturday, 11 am – 6 pm, Sunday 11 am-4 pm (Summer Hours). The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, ID microchip, and current vaccinations. They have been wormed, de-flead, socialized and given lots of love.
