You have to come down to Newberg Animal Shelter to adopt any dog or cat. We have to make sure that all of our animals make it into the right home. This site is only informational and you’ll still need to make the trip to our shelter if you would like to adopt one our animals. We thank you for understanding and so do our animals.

Hi, I’m Patty Cake, a gentle and sweet girl who’s ready to find my forever home!
I’m a little shy and timid when I first meet new people, so I may need some extra time and patience to feel comfortable and come out of my shell. New situations can be a little overwhelming for me, but once I settle in and learn that I’m safe, my sweet nature really starts to shine. With a little kindness and understanding, you’ll get to see the loving personality I have waiting underneath my shy exterior.
I’m looking for a special person or family who will let me take things at my own pace and give me the time I need to build trust. In return, I’ll reward you with all the love this gentle girl has to give!

We focus on finding the best match for adoptable animals and their forever homes.
Our open hours are Monday – Saturday 11am-6pm, Sunday 11am-4pm (Summer hours). Adoptions end one hour prior to close.
The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, ID microchip, and current vaccinations. They have been wormed, de-flead, socialized and given lots of love.
