You have to come down to Newberg Animal Shelter to adopt any dog or cat. We have to make sure that all of our animals make it into the right home. This site is only informational and you’ll still need to make the trip to our shelter if you would like to adopt one our animals. We thank you for understanding and so do our animals.

Pennywise
We all float down here… but Pennywise prefers to pounce.
Don’t let the name fool you — this Pennywise isn’t interested in lurking in sewers. He’s much more interested in toys, kitten wrestling, and finding new ways to entertain himself. This little clown is playful, mischievous, and guaranteed to bring plenty of laughs to his forever home.
Pennywise may be the scariest name in the litter, but his biggest weapon is an adorable kitten face that makes it nearly impossible to say no to him. After he gets his energy out, he loves to curl up for a nap with his person.
If you are interested in meeting Pennywise, the shelter is open Monday through Saturday, 11 am – 6 pm, Sunday 11 am-4 pm (Summer Hours). Our open hours are Monday – Saturday 11am-6pm, Sunday 11am-4pm (Summer hours). Adoptions end one hour prior to close.
The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, ID microchip, and current vaccinations. They have been wormed, de-flead, socialized and given lots of love.
