You have to come down to Newberg Animal Shelter to adopt any dog or cat. We have to make sure that all of our animals make it into the right home. This site is only informational and you’ll still need to make the trip to our shelter if you would like to adopt one our animals. We thank you for understanding and so do our animals.

Meet Rey!
Rey is a sweet, curious little girl who believes every day should include plenty of playtime and a new adventure! She loves exploring her surroundings, pouncing on toys, and chasing anything that moves. Her playful personality is matched only by her loving heart.
After a day of fun and exploration, Rey’s favorite place is snuggled up for a well-earned nap, whether it’s in a cozy bed or curled up beside her favorite person. She’s the perfect combination of adventurous and affectionate and is ready to fill her forever home with purrs, cuddles, and lots of kitten antics.
If you are interested in meeting Rey, the shelter is open Monday through Saturday, 11 am – 6 pm, Sunday 11 am-4 pm (Summer Hours). Our open hours are Monday – Saturday 11am-6pm, Sunday 11am-4pm (Summer hours). Adoptions end one hour prior to close.
The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, ID microchip, and current vaccinations. They have been wormed, de-flead, socialized and given lots of love.
