You have to come down to Newberg Animal Shelter to adopt any dog or cat. We have to make sure that all of our animals make it into the right home. This site is only informational and you’ll still need to make the trip to our shelter if you would like to adopt one our animals. We thank you for understanding and so do our animals.

Meet Rhubarb, a sweet mama who has officially earned her turn to be spoiled! Rhubarb recently welcomed a litter of kittens and has spent her time being the very best mom she could be. Now that her babies are growing up and ready for their own adventures, Rhubarb is ready to focus on herself—and she says it’s about time!
This lovely girl is ready for a home where she can relax, soak up some attention, and be pampered like the queen she is. She has given her kittens so much love and care, and now she’s hoping someone will return the favor. If you’re looking for a sweet companion who deserves to be the center of attention, Rhubarb may be your perfect match!

Our open hours are Monday – Saturday 11am-6pm, Sunday 11am-4pm (Summer hours). Adoptions end one hour prior to close.
The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, ID microchip, and current vaccinations. They have been wormed, de-flead, socialized and given lots of love.
