Meet Shadow!

The first thing you’ll notice about Shadow — and the last thing you’ll forget — are her icy, crystal-blue eyes. While striking and intense, her gaze reveals something much softer: a loving and protective companion who is waiting for the right person to call her own. As a Doberman pinscher mix, Shadow was literally born to form deep bonds with her family and to vigilantly attend to them for life.

Shadow is selective with other dogs and would prefer not to have to compete with any others for your attention. In exchange she will be a calm and grounding presence as you go about your day, and a warm and affectionate companion when it’s time to lay on the couch and relax.

We already know that Shadow is ready to meet her person, now all that’s left is to find out if that person might be you.

If you are interested in meeting Shadow, the shelter is open Monday through Saturday, 11 am – 6 pm, Sunday 11 am-4 pm (Summer Hours).
