You have to come down to Newberg Animal Shelter to adopt any dog or cat. We have to make sure that all of our animals make it into the right home. This site is only informational and you’ll still need to make the trip to our shelter if you would like to adopt one our animals. We thank you for understanding and so do our animals.

Hi there! I’m Veggies, a 1-year-old brown tabby who’s ready to find my forever home and start my next great adventure!
I’m a curious, affectionate girl with a sweet personality and plenty of love to give. I enjoy being around people and am gentle and friendly with everyone I meet. Whether we’re playing, exploring, or simply spending some quiet time together, I’m happiest when I have a little companionship.
I’d be a wonderful match for an active household that can keep me engaged and give me plenty of love and attention. And when playtime is over, I’m more than happy to settle in and enjoy some cozy time with my favorite people. We focus on finding the best match for adoptable animals and their forever homes.
Our open hours are Monday – Saturday 11am-6pm, Sunday 11am-4pm (Summer hours). Adoptions end one hour prior to close.
The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, ID microchip, and current vaccinations. They have been wormed, de-flead, socialized and given lots of love.
