Bergie!
I’m Bergie, a 4-year-old black-and-white Pit Bull Terrier mix who’s ready to bring some serious cuddles and love into your life! At 63 pounds, I’m a strong, solid boy with a playful spirit and a heart full of affection to share. I’m still learning my leash manners, so I’ll need a family willing to continue working with me on my walking skills and help me become the best walking buddy I can be. With a little patience, consistency, and lots of love, we can make a great team!
I’m already neutered and up to date on my vaccines, so I’m ready to start my next chapter. If you’re looking for a big-hearted companion with plenty of love to give, come meet me and see if we’re meant to be!
If you are interested in meeting Bergie, the first step is to complete an application through the dog’s profile at newberganimals.com.
Once your application is reviewed and approved, we’ll reach out to schedule a meet-and-greet appointment. Appointments are preferred so we can make sure a team member is available to assist you.
The shelter is open Monday–Saturday 11am–6pm and Sunday 11am–4pm (adoptions end one hour prior to close).
